Licensing

This library brings together fan-made WipEout art and design from several community contributors, plus in-game reference material. Each contributor released their work under different terms, verified from their own source pages. This page records those terms and what they mean for reuse.

Not legal advice. This is a good-faith reading of each source's stated terms for a non-commercial community/preservation project. If you intend to rely on any asset — especially commercially — confirm the licence with the original creator.

What these licences mean

The table above shows which licence applies to each contributor's work. Here's what each one permits for whatever asset you want to reuse:

Across the board these are non-commercial terms: none of this material may be sold or used commercially without the original creator's permission.

How this library handles the art

Each asset's licence is shown on its credit card on the site.
